A few years ago, during an office move, (the building was at 1120 19th St NW / Dupont Circle. I was abroad and could not move my paintings and when I came back they were gone.) I lost two paintings that I got in Haiti—artworks that hold deep sentimental and cultural value to me. Despite my best efforts, their whereabouts remain unknown. I’m hopeful that the community might help recover these cherished pieces.

I am more than willing to offer a reward for any information that leads to their recovery. (more…)

Does anyone have any great places to donate to in the area? We have lots of clothing but also housewares, books, etc. I frequently donate to Martha’s Table and other big organizations but I’m wondering if there might be any great ones that I don’t know about or for communities that have been hit particularly hard by the current political state of affairs, etc. Thank you!!”

I was an election worker in 2024 during the primary and general elections, and I have worked every election since the pandemic to ensure that older workers who needed to stay home were replaced. It was overall a great experience over the years, but now it is tax season. (more…)
