“Dear PoPville,

I’m looking for a new apartment in DC and wondering what sites people use to search? I’ve looked on Craigslist and it feels like a mess of duplicate posts by big management companies and large buildings. “Dear PoPville,

The stretch of Warder close to New Hampshire got a new look recently, including a better-placed bike lane. They also put up new signs, although one just says “At New Hampshire” even though it’s considerably before New Hampshire. All of the bus drivers didn’t bat an eye until the end of the day the driver of the 52 bus wouldn’t let us on. (more…)

“Dear PoPville,

I live in Eckington and have been blasted all day with heavy base and electronic music from the Project GLOW festival over at RFK festival grounds, which is ~3.5mi away. Somehow didn’t hear it yesterday, and it goes on until at least 11pm tonight (Sunday) which feels kind of nuts to me. I can’t even imagine how loud it is for neighborhoods even closer. (more…)
