We’re building an accessory building on our property, and will end up with about a 20×20 mostly-empty wall on our alley. We’d love to paint a mural on it. And when I say “we’d love to paint” I mean we would love to find someone with talent and artistic inspiration to paint a mural on it for us.
I know there’s a commercial program DC Murals that offers grants for commercial businesses to do this sort of thing, but I’m wondering if any of your readers know how to do something similar for residential buildings? Or if anyone has ever done this on their property (found an artist, prices, any DC restrictions, etc.)?“
