Back in April we posted some scuttlebutt about a Smoothie King coming here. Looks like they’re shooting to open this year. Best in Liquors closed on P Street in between the Whole Foods and the coming Phillips Seafood & Steaks (formerly Tortilla Coast) back in March.
Doug tells us: “Rumor: a friend heard from Best Buy employee that the Tenleytown store is closing on Nov 3”
I also hear a rumor that they would be closing “at the end of the month.”

Florida Ave between 8th and 9th Street, NW
And I support this trend 100%! Yesterday was Coldstone Creamery and today we got another Nicecream. They opened their first D.C. location in Adams Morgan back in July.
Fromscuttlebutt back in March to open in Shaw. They’re located right next to Bonobos in the Shay.
Anyone try out the Adams Morgan spot? What’s the word?
3509 Connecticut Ave, NW
Coldstone Creamery is now open Cleveland Park. This is the former Secolari space in the Sam’s Park and Shop that closed back in April. Cleveland Park once had a Cold Stone Creamery located at 3508 Connecticut Ave, NW. With 80+ degree days in October, hoping this one lasts!
