“The Mendelsohn family of Sunnyside Restaurant Group announce the reopening and new location of Santa Rosa Taqueria. Located on Capitol Hill at 301 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, blocks away from its original location, the Mexican restaurant will have a new look with menu favorites and additional items curated by Chef Brian Lacayo and Catherine Mendelsohn. “Dear PoPville,
I’m looking for a bar or restaurant in DC proper where I can host an event (about 20-30 people) in the next few weeks. Ideally, this place would have covered outdoor space but we are open to other options and willing to be flexible. The main thing is that we do not want to be charged a rental fee for the use of the space or have a bar minimum. Understandably, I may be hunting for a unicorn but figured it was worth asking the community in the event they knew of a business that we could support and that would love to host us.”
