From a press release:

Honeymoon Chicken (4201 Georgia Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC), a premium chicken brand that is the brainchild of Catalogue by Salis Holdings, opens Wednesday in DC’s Petworth neighborhood and is serving up some of the city’s finest fried chicken. First introduced to DC’s culinary scene via Catalogue’s digitally-driven food hall concept, Ensemble Kitchen, Honeymoon is now getting its very own brick and mortar, bringing “fried chicken, but fancy” to the masses. In the close-knit, family-friendly neighborhood of Petworth, community is everything, and nothing brings neighbors together quite like home-style, from-scratch cooking.

Funky <> Fancy: The Concept

Born from the playful culinary philosophy “where funky meets fancy,” Honeymoon Chicken takes the art of fried chicken to a new level of sophistication and creativity. The chef-curated menu is crafted by the illustrious king of BBQ, Chef Rob Sonderman, who first graced DC with his low and slow meat cookery at Federalist Pig. Best described as a love letter to the delicious majesty of fried chicken, the Honeymoon Chicken difference can be found in three main components: Quality (farm raised, cage free, all natural, local chickens, because high quality ingredients yield high quality finished products!), Preparation (a three step process involving a 24 hour pickle brined, hand breading and pressure frying the chicken) and Signature Finishes (Honey Dust – a combination of spices including honey powder, smoked paprika, salt and garlic powder OR the Hot Honey Dip – a sweet, sticky and spicy sauce with a touch of smokiness and heat from habanero peppers). These factors set Honeymoon apart and offer a unique approach to traditional fried chicken that places by putting high quality ingredients and techniques above all.

“Honeymoon has been a passion project for us. We understand there are many fried chicken spots to choose from, but it’s been our mission to create an excellent and differentiated fried chicken experience,” said Steve Salis, founder and CEO of Catalogue, a collection of premium hospitality brands by Salis Holdings. “We’ve put in the work to create an eclectic environment that matches the energy and vibrancy of the neighborhood and we look forward to bringing ‘fried chicken, but fancy’ to our community”

Designed with Nostalgia and Comfort in Mind: The Interior
Honeymoon’s retro chic design is both functional and pleasing to the eye, offering a warm and inviting space that is as convenient and comfortable as it is beautiful. A large 15 seat bar is the focal point of the kitchen, offering front row seats to the restaurant’s open kitchen. Cool pops of blue tile on the bar are complemented by warm pinks and neutral tones found in the bar stools, booth seating and arched wall detailing. A convenient pickup window order facing Georgia Avenue will allow guests to easily order and pick up their favorite fried chicken dishes without even having to enter the restaurant. Outdoor seating will also be available during warmer months.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
