Could we crowd source the best restaurant week deals? Just had lunch at Bistro Liberte in Georgetown which was great value, 3 courses, including some of the $25+ mains, all for $25. Really yummy cucumber gazpacho as a first course.”

A tipster tells me that they heard folks from Snappy’s (3917 Georgia Ave, NW) will be opening a second location in Logan Circle/14th Street possibly around 14th and S Street, NW. I wasn’t able to confirm the location or other details but Snappy’s does confirm:

“Yeah, some of the team here are doing a second venture.”

“The main floor will be rebranded as Mi Pana, bringing a fresh new dining and nightlife concept to Adams Morgan.

The second floor will remain Johnny Pistolas, continuing to serve its LA-inspired taqueria-style food, tequila bar, and nightlife atmosphere.

The mezzanine will become the Riff Raff Room, an intimate speakeasy-style cocktail lounge featuring Schotts’ award-winning cocktails and elevated tapas.

The top floor will stay a dedicated party and event space, preserving Johnny Pistolas’ long-standing reputation for nightlife and private events in Adams Morgan.
