“On Saturday, Oct. 18, and Sunday, Oct. 19, the NoMa-Gallaudet U Station will be closed. Free shuttle buses will replace trains between Union Station and Rhode Island Av while crews perform essential maintenance, replacing crossties and cables to improve safety and reliability, ensuring smoother rides for customers.
Service Information
Red Line: Trains will run every 8 minutes during the day and every 10 minutes after 9:30p.m. between Shady Grove and Union Station.
At Judiciary Square only, one track will be closed to customers. Trains on the available track will arrive every 16 minutes during the day and every 20 minutes after 9:30 p.m. As an alternative, customers can board trains at nearby Gallery Place for a shorter wait time.
Trains will run normal service frequencies between Rhode Island Av and Glenmont.
Orange Line: Normal Service
Silver Line: Trains operate from Ashburn to New Carrollton every 12 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes after 9:30 p.m. There will be no Silver Line service to Downtown Largo.
Blue Line: Normal Service
Yellow Line: Normal Service
Green Line: Normal Service”
