Indique Introduces ‘Thali Thursday’ with “Three Thali specials available every Thursday for dinner service”

“Beginning today – Thursday, April 12th, 2018 – celebrated modern Indian restaurant Indique based in the heart of Cleveland Park in Washington DC – will begin offering their new ‘Thali Thursday’ offerings – dinner service only – featuring three new authentic Thali options including Vegetarian, Non-Vegetarian, and Seafood in addition to their a la carte menu.

Indique owners Executive Chef K.N. Vinod and Surfy Rahman are launching ‘Thali Thursday’ with the hopes of being able to share an ongoing Thali experience with diners providing them with an interactive and engaging culinary experience that invites them to engage all of their senses, to share background with them on the history and popularity of this authentic dish of which is served throughout various regions of India, and to also teach them the best way to enjoy this unique culinary experience. Three Thali specials will be available every Thursday for dinner service including a Vegetarian Thali priced at $22 per person, a Non-Vegetarian Thali priced at $24 per person, and a Seafood Thali option priced at $26 per person.

A thali is a traditional Indian platter that is composed of an assortment of small dishes providing a balanced meal while incorporating an exotic variety of flavors and textures including salty, sweet, tangy, and crunchy, just to highlight a few. Thali is often enjoyed during popular holidays – such as Diwali – celebrated throughout India, so Chef Vinod and the team at Indique look forward to sharing this Indian culinary favorite with DC area diners and beyond moving forward.”
