I love how they’ve done the inside. Very cool and can’t wait to check it out.

Awesome job, guys. I appreciate the investment that they’ve made in the neighborhood. We’ll be frequent patrons. Anyone know if they’ll have carry-out pizza?

  • Patrick

This spot looks dope… can’t wait to indulge in some ZAA there… Oh le noi!

  • tom

looks great, cant freaking wait such good pizza!

Looks cool, but it doesn’t look like there’s a whole lot of space for people to sit. Is it really small or do the pictures just make it look that way? I too am curious if they’ll do carry-out (especially if it’s as small as it looks).

When I walked past last night and peeked inside, that was my first impression too. I’m guessing the seating capacity of 15-20 inside at the most, including the bar seating? I hope there’s a patio out back and I would guess they’ll have sidewalk seating in front.

It did look awesome though. And that copper oven – gorgeous!

The ANC (I am a Commissioner) approved a resolution supporting two sidewalk tables.

Any word on what type of pizza? More trendy, thin crackery crust or will it dare to be different?

    • Anon

The word you’re looking for is “Neapolitan”. This clearly isn’t your cup of tea – try Manny and Olga’s down the street.

      • ctk

You can be a fan of good pizza and not be a fan of Neapolitan pizza, which too often winds up with a crust that resembles soup in the middle of the pizza. But kudos on the sick burn.

          Try All Purpose or Bacio’s.

    PLEASE OFFER CARRY OUT!

    • We are going to offer carry-out!

    Was this a church previously?

You sound like a jewel of a neighbor.

I love too-cool-for-kids hipsters who forget that they were once kids.

        “too-cool-for-kids hipster”
        .
That’s certainly not the OP above. He’s a cantankerous older man who seems to troll just about everything. It’s best to completely ignore him – eventually he’ll get the hint and move back to trolling WTOP, the Post, or something similarly appropriate.

  • tacopuss

Aw, someone needs a hug. What’s funny is that the staff at the “less child-friendly places” have expressly told myself and other parents that they very much welcome kids. Maybe the only thing not child-friendly here is you?

    • Anon

      How about a hug instead?

The only downside about this place is how fat I’m going to get!
