Suspect Sought in Burglary and Sexual Assault Offense: 2600 Block of 41st Street, NW

“The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a Burglary and Sexual Assault offense that took place on June 27, 2015 at approximately 4:00 am, in the 2600 block of 41st Street, Northwest.

During the offense an adult male entered a residence and sexually assaulted an adult female, before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 23 years of age, 5’8”-6’0”in height, brown hair, with a buzz type haircut, wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and a dark colored backpack.

As the investigation continues, anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”
