This was a very nice little neighborhood event with lots of parents and small kids enjoying the music and lights; hope to see the tradition continue and thanks to the merchants and volunteers who donated their time and money to make it happen.
it was a lovely tree lighting ceremony at columbia plaza on saturday night. a good crowd, coffee and hot cocoa, singing of christmas carols and our first (of many i hope) tree lighting. plenty of holiday spirit for the adults and little ones who attended.

Does the placing of fences around the tree have anything to do with the war on Christmas? Is this a POW camp?
