Looks like something is finally going to replace the former space occupied by Flyy Couture at 823 Shepherd St, NW. Flyy/Finest Couture closed back in May ’09 though this is right next door to the recently opened Jamaican restaurant, Pink Snapper.
I had noticed that there was some lingerie in the window but thought it was just a leftover from the Flyy days. But then a reader wrote in asking what was going on so I went to take a closer look. And there is def. a lot of lingerie in the window (the store was closed when I stopped by) and a “stripper pole” in the center of the store (you can kinda see the pole through the door in the photo above). Perhaps lessons will be given? There is a sign in the store called goodies2go and shopgoodies2go.com but the Web site is not yet working.

^yes. The only danger at this location is being run over by a motorist from Maryland.
Faison's writeups make me crazy. And not in a good "I'm crazy for buying this house!" way.
The Dancing Crab's commercials have to be the worst I've ever seen. The owners saying,...
God you people are boring. Why not more chatter about their footwears?
Cheesy and cheap. Something you'd expect the Montgomery, Al. Convention's Bureau to run...
The G-Spot, Goodies to Go and Pink Snapper? What a porn-y menagerie of names…
And don’t forget the Blue Banana!
I work accross the street, and every once in a while they have stuff inside, and suddenly it will go away. I have seen people inside (again every once in a while) but never have I seen them actually “open”. I am not convinced that this will be anything, but it would be nice if they did open a store (even if it is lingerie that I will never buy)
Jeeze, I hope that having a lingerie store next to it will allow people to realize that the “Pink Snapper” is a dirty DIRTY name! Hope the food is great as the name is dirty!
LOL I thought Pink Snapper was the name of the lingerie store too!
