“Matt Barry, who led Tysons Corner Center for the last four years, will be overseeing a new effort to revitalize Union Station as its new General Manager, Rexmark announced today. Tysons Corner is the nation’s premier mixed-use property, including a shopping center with more than 300 retailers and 2 million square feet, a hotel, office buildings, and apartments.

Barry’s arrival comes as Union Station is already seeing an upswing. Foot traffic has increased by 177% year to date, and the station will soon be announcing plans to reopen numerous retail locations in addition to new leasing — the first since the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Read More
