“Lost wedding ring, Union Station, Monday 3/2”

“Dear PoPville,

This is a longshot, but I thought worth a try. My wife lost her wedding band sometime during her train ride (Amtrak regional #107, approximately 10 pm arrival at Union Station) and the Uber ride home. She went back to the train the night she lost it (big round of applause to the lovely Amtrak staff who very kindly helped her look) and looked through the entire car she was in and the path she took out of the station. No luck with lost and found or the Uber either,

but we are also grateful for how sincerely they looked for it.

It’s a 4.5 mm plain yellow 14k gold band, flat surface but with rounded edges. No etching on the inside other than the 14k. She doesn’t wear a lot of jewelry but this ring means a lot to her (and I’m not just saying that as her wife). She’s been so upset since she realized it was missing, so I just wanted to check with the PoPville community if someone came across it.”
