We designated a little space in our basement “the art room,” so this space is my attempt to elevate and share her love and vision for creativity. “Dear PoPville,

My close friends and several family members were all walking from my apt on H ST NE, north towards Union Market, to cap off a great weekend of celebrating my doctoral graduation. Sadly, as we were about to cross Florida Ave, these 2 or 3 teens with a gun robbed two in my large group of their belongings. This is ridiculous to say the least that these teens did it in broad daylight, in front of children and several homeowners just enjoying their front lawn. 1:00 PM on a sunny Sunday. (more…)
