Thanks to Neal for sending the sad news. Taqueria Nacional had reopened the T Street location in August. Taqueria Nacional first opened on T Street in 2013. Taqueria Nacional, was originally located at 400 North Capitol Street, NW. The new, and will continue to stay open location in Mount Pleasant can be found at 3213 Mt Pleasant St, NW. (more…)

Back in the before times we had heard that a bagel shop was coming to this space [RIP Mixtec] alas that is not to be. However, citygridrealestate posts on their Instagram:

On Thursday I shared the great news that Taqueria Xochi “will be moving to our own full-time location on U Street in DC in September”. I happened to walk by on Saturday and the owners told me this is where they’ll be located. They plan on painting the space pink so we can’t miss it. Stay tuned for an exact opening date. (more…)

They’re currently popping up at little beast in Chevy chase with hopes of getting their own space. Her food is delicious. They’re popping up at little beast everyday!
