“Hai Hospitality, the acclaimed Austin, Texas-based hospitality group best known for its Uchi, Uchiko and Uchibā restaurant concepts, announced today that it has signed a lease at 17xM, an award-winning Class A trophy office building in Washington’s Central Business District developed by Skanska USA Commercial Development. The space will be home to Uchi, the nontraditional Japanese restaurant founded in 2003 by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole with seven locations nationwide. I’ve been trying to make a reservation at Nama Ko and they are showing no availability for any party size for any date for any time in the next several months… I have also called several times and nobody has picked up nor returned my messages. The last OpenTable review someone left was dated 4/13 and I last ate there (and made a reservation) on 3/27. Was not sure if you had heard anything about it being closed?
