So where are your favorites?

I know so many people who are Chipotle devotees. Of course, I’m a well known Taco Bell fanatic. So what’s your poison when you just get that fast food craving? McDonald’s? Chipotle? Taco Bell? Wendy’s? Chik Filet? Arby’s? Does Potbelly’s count? Chop’t? I thought this would be an interesting question given an earlier post…

First person to spell out Arby’s gets a free PoP t-shirt.

Coming from New York originally, my gold standard is Peter Lugar’s steakhouse. I’ve yet to discover a steak that amazing. But someone was just telling that there is an incredible place somewhere in Rosslyn. Does that ring a bell to anyone?

I’ve had a damn good steak at Morton’s. But are there any hidden gems out there? Where’s the best of the best?

You know what I mean. The restaurant that you’ll go to for celebrations – birthdays, anniversaries, new jobs etc. My all time favorite is Obelisk on P Street off Dupont Circle. It is in a row house and the menu changes daily. Ridiculously good. You’ll need reservations in advance as the seating is limited. So what’s your go to celebration spot?

I think Solly’s at 11th and U may be a good choice. There is also a place in Cleveland Park that also has awesome prosciutto sandwiches called Cleveland Park Bar and Grill on Connecticut Ave. What’s your favorite spot?

A friend of mine called me up asking for my recommendations and the only place I could think of was the noodle place on 6th Street in China Town. So help us out! What’s the best Chinese (and Chinese takeout) in the City?
