As my family and I left a youth soccer match at Raymond Rec Center on Sat. morning, I spotted Ward 4 Board of Education Member Frazier O’Leary’s Benz blocking a fire hydrant at the intersection of Quebec Pl and 10th St NW. This is probably a stupid question, but I’ve been in DC for 2.5 years and always managed to find parking around my Adams Morgan apartment (up to 1/4 mile away, though I would have to circle around for up to 20 minutes). However in the last month or two, I haven’t been this lucky a few times. Especially lately, there’s been construction equipment taking up parking spaces. (more…)
