“Dear PoPville,

So a DDOT truck drove up in front of my house today and put up some new parking signs in spots that I guess have been in need of them. Great! Hooray for infrastructure!

Except when they left, I noticed that the signs read “2 hour parking—Zone 4A permit holders excepted.”

“Dear PoPville,

DDOT closing down the whole street of 1300-1400 M St NW with zero notice. Takes up both sides of street parking. Signs were printed the day before (as noted on sign) are they allowed to do this? Very frustrating! Address listed on sign also wrong!!”

“Dear PoPville,

Illegal parking all week

This thing arrive on Florida between 18/19 and has been illegally parked since Friday 5/12. How?”

Will be late to work as I had to drive around finding a place to park

This project has been a nightmare. Nothing has been done. What are the rules about putting these signs up/notifying people in advance?
