It had been like a year since our last Electric Cool-Aid update. Thanks to a reader for sending word about their Indiegogo:

“We are here to bring you hot fun in the summertime. Frozen drinks, things in cans, and a magic bus, all at the corner of 6th and Rhode Island NW.

You may be hearing about us for the first time, or maybe you have been hearing about us for over a year. We have gone from being a dream to having building permits and an approval for a liquor license, now we just need to build this beauty.

This launch event with Bell’s will be the first in a series of beer-focused events on the patio throughout the summer.

Whoa, finally some action at a long time Horse’s Ass Award nominee (RIP State of the Union.) A new liquor license application says:

“DC Rabbit Hole LLC is opening Alice

Voodoo Brewery Beer Garden Pops Up in Shaw

This is in that little triangle parking lot across the street from the Howard Theatre and Right Proper. I passed by while Voodoo Brewery were setting up Saturday morning out of that shipping container and was told they’d be there this weekend and next weekend and possible longer. Did anyone happen to stop by?
