“Dear PoPville,
This sign spotted in Adams Morgan. I guess some find it rude to dump bagged dog poo in a person’s trash can, but I’d say it’s not stellar neighborly behavior to post security camera footage of your neighbors either!”

Thanks to Jessica for sending from Adams Morgan:
“I truly love the petty vengefulness of a note war. For what it’s worth, this person DOES leave trash on the sidewalk (previously: a lone Timberland boot, a raggedy Beanie Baby, useless manuals).”

“Carol, so help me God if one more person touches the ferns…that’s it!”

“Dear PoPville,
Came across this sign on a house on 13th St near Spring as I was walking back to my house in Petworth yesterday. Any info on this? I have a friend who lives further up the street and similarly dealt with developers harassing him and his roommates a few years ago for complaining to the city about their building practices, so not terribly surprised if this was also true.”
Ed. Note: Another reader sent a photo of the sign on the right hand side of the photo above a few weeks ago. I hadn’t seen the one on the left, which is also intriguing.

Thanks to Alisha and Greg for sending the latest in the Masonic Temple land development, uh, debate.
“Littered on windshields around 17th/P NW”
Lisa for the win with: “These flyers are messing up my Historic Dupont views on my morning commute.” (more…)

Thanks to Pierce for sending from Columbia Heights.

“Dear PoPville,
Someone was *really* pissed their “no parking” signs were ignored. Two cars on Belmont St NW near 16th St with the signs tucked under their windshield wipers, tastefully annotated.”

Thanks to everyone who passed on this note in front of the Q Street Barbies. The Barbie Pond themselves responded best on their Instagram:
“Think of the Children!”
Our earliest recording of the Barbies was back in April 2014. Suffice it to say they have grown in popularity since then and literally become a neighborhood landmark. Long live the barbies and their cheeky (pun intended), good-natured take on holidays and events of the day. They put a smile on my face every time I see them!

SPGM captures some serious intensity in Blagden Alley:
“The dog poop situation is getting out of control.”
Update:
“Wonder if the person was found because the sign is gone.”

OhBootsy sends us the letter above over the weekend:
“MAJOR CHANGES COMING TO 21ST ST NW?
Found this on my porch; losing 120 parking spaces on 21st St NW. Is this for real?”

DC Cycle Track’s website says:
“The purpose of this project is to identify a specific route for north- and south-running protected bicycle lanes between Dupont Circle, the western side of Downtown, and the National Mall that provides a safe environment for people biking of all ages and abilities on either 20 , 21 , or 22 Street NW.
