I Richhi is located at 1220 19th St., NW. In my quest to find the greatest Italian restaurant it’s time to judge I Richhi. I’m hearing it’s a bit overrated but I’ve also heard folks that love it. You can see their menu here. Any fans? Worth the dough?

Anna Maria’s Italian restaurant is located at 1737 Connecticut Ave NW.
Pesto is located at 2915 Connecticut Ave, NW. I’m mostly curious about this place because it is rather hidden among apartment buildings. I’ve always wondered if it’s any good. You can see their menu here. Any fans out there?
La Carbonara is located at 1926 9th Street, NW. (We once spoke of this place a couple of years ago but mostly just discussed the very nice Eritrean owner.) The menu seems very reasonably priced. And of course they have pizza too. For the wine fans you can see their wine list here. So any fans out there?
I’ve been pretty curious about Pines of Florence located at 2100 Connecticut Ave because it looks so out of place for a restaurant. It is surrounded by apartment buildings and in fact looks like it is in the lobby of one. But the reviewers on Yelp were very complimentary. I’m a huge fan of Italian food so I’d love to add another to my regular stomping grounds. The menu says “Uncomplicated Southern Italian Food at a Reasonable Price”. So what do you guys think – any fans out there?

Back in July we learned that a new Italian restaurant, Posto, would be opening up in Viridian’s old spot at 1515 14th St, NW. I just noticed this sign saying that they were now hiring. Well, that seems promising. Anyone heard when they might be opening?
I’ve only eaten at La Tomate located at 1701 Connecticut Ave., NW a couple of times but I’ve never had a bad meal there. Any fans out there?
