Ed. Note: This was the something healthy we wondering about back in December. This space was previously home to a Protein Bar.

“Fruitive is opening an expanded Penn Quarter location on Wednesday, February 18 at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The new 2,500-square-foot space will feature the brand’s signature cold-pressed juices, smoothies, vegan waffles, and acai bowls — including a specialty Bolivian-sourced variety backed by a community-led fair-trade model. Pret a Manger opened the 18th and M St, NW location back in February 2016. Prior to Pret the space was home to a Caribou coffee.
