Thanks to all who passed on the sad news from The Pinch:
“They say all good things must come to an end… Sadly after nearly 8 great years The Pinch will be closing it’s doors. We’ve enjoyed our time spent here in Columbia Heights and getting to know our neighbors and friends and would love to see you all before we go! Our last night will be Tuesday 10/22/19!”
The Pinch opened here back in mid-2012. Previously the space was home to El Salvadorena. Updates when we learn what becomes of the space.

Last week when we spoke about Starbucks closing in Chinatown – lots of folks recommended Chinatown Coffee Co. (among others) as a good alternative. And so it goes.
