Melpomene Wetzlar replies: “There are more flights now since the COVID shutdown. Almost back to normal. The flight paths have not changed. Flights going to Boston,Newark,JFK, Providence, etc fly over the Anacostia. Flying over water plus cold weather & clouds will cause louder noises.”

“Good morning from DCA! Dunkin’ Donuts line longer than TSA. If you have pre-check, you’re golden. If you don’t, you’re still looking at max 30 min security line. Safe travels!!!”

G writes us: “DCA line this Morning, out the door for terminal A. if you have a flight coming up soon, come very early.”

On Wednesday we got a DCA PSA about long security lines at the airport. Update: They’re apparently getting longer. So keep in mind as we get closer to Thanksgiving travel (we did a poll showing almost 60% of respondents would be traveling this year, obviously not all by air but still.)
