I had a question that I thoughts your readers might know. Have the flights paths for DCA recently changed? I have lived in DC a long time and in my current house in SW for 6 years, and a few months ago I staring noticing that several times a day commercial fights were taking offing and heading right over my house, most in a Northeast direction.
They are very loud, especially on cloudy days when the sound seems to reverberate. I never remember hearing airplanes until recently (helicopters, sure, but not big jetliners). I thought it was a thing that commercial flights couldn’t fly right over DC, did this change?”
