WTOP reported:

“D.C. police said it happened around 4 p.m. at the L’Enfant Plaza Metro station in Southwest.

A woman, who investigators say was a bystander, was shot (non-life threatening injuries and wasn’t taken to the hospital.)”

I noticed these flags underneath speed limit signs up and down Connecticut Ave. over the weekend.

A bit reminiscent of the good old (bad) days, when crossing the street for pedestrians was like a game of frogger. [It seems like a joke, but I swear to you this really was a thing. And it worked about as well as you might imagine.]

This past Sunday 8/28 at midnight, a car came barreling down 13th St NW (and Euclid St NW. Cars were parked on 13th) and hit a parked car, resulting in 5 cars all hitting each other and causing rear/front damage to everyone. The driver drove off – if anyone sees this car around DC, please report to the police.”
