From the Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton:

“Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) received a response to her most recent letter to the United States Postal Service (USPS) about delayed and undelivered mail in the District of Columbia. Norton said she will continue monitoring USPS in D.C. for the effects of the promised improvements.

Thanks to James for sending: “My partner and I live in SW DC, and my sister lives in Ballston. She kindly mailed us a Holiday card on December 16, 2020, and it was JUST returned to her (August 18, 2021) because it was “not deliverable as addressed.” She has mailed things to that address more than once, so why wasn’t it delivered? And where has it been for 8 months??”

Last Christmas Card in Town is brought to you by the Friends of the White Whale Society!

We are still waiting for numerous birthday cards for my husband which were supposed to be delivered back in October. One of which was the last card his grandmother sent him before she passed. (more…)
