Has anyone been having mail issues recently? We haven’t received mail in about a week (predictive mail emails say we are missing at least 6 pieces of mail) and then on Sunday, I saw these USPS trucks making what looked like amazon deliveries with no license plates on the trucks. Very odd…”

“Walled to the 23rd street location, closed for „system issues” and the sign said to go to m street. walked to m street, closed without a sign, walked to farragut and now there’s a sign they reopen at 3:15. dozens of people waiting on a friday afternoon, is there a summer staffing issue at usps locally or nationwide?”

Anyone still having issues?

Could you maybe run a happy thing about post offices? People can send in their favorites?

My favorite is Mt. Rainer, just north of Eastern Ave on RHI. The people who work there are great and you can schedule your passport renewals there. They take photos too! Parking right out front and there is hardly ever a line. Maybe I shouldn’t share…”

Well, USPS has opened the newly located post office in Dupont on Conn Ave, BUT it’s still called “Temple Heights,” just like at its former location, which isn’t an actual neighborhood in DC. Google that and you’ll see your own article. Why it’s not called Dupont Circle is laughable. (more…)
