It was built by the poet Joaquin Miller in 1883 by Meridian Hill Park. The cabin was moved to its current location circa 1911 to give way to city development. Reportedly, NPS has plans to relocate the structure once again.”

Crispus Attucks Park is located in the alley between 1st Street and North Captiol and V St and U St, NW.
