“Corduroy and Baby Wale have opened a pop up in the alley behind the restaurants called Clos Du Roy. A clos is a walled in vineyard and this is a walled in patio. A new mural wraps around the back of the buildings and gives it some life. We have fire pits and marshmallows are coming soon. The menu is more Corduroy than Baby Wale right now. Weather permitting Clos Du Roy will be open 7 nights a week until the cold comes.” (more…)

A reader reports: “shots fired around 11 PM last night at 11th and Vermont NW by Logan Circle. Woke up to 4-5 VERY loud, distinct shots, and not seconds later cops were swarming the area. Hard to tell in picture but cops were out with flashlights, seemed like they were looking at cars for bullet holes or casings.” (more…)
