A heads up for your readers. Yesterday between approximately 5 and 7 (I wasn’t tracking time) a group of young people came down 17th St to the front of JRs, throwing rocks at the people outside while shouting f****t, and even threatened to shoot them. (more…)

Very strange request here! I have a lovely boyfriend who is the sweetest guy in the world but a couple of months ago he got a concussion and is suffering from memory issues. Yesterday he parked his car somewhere in Dupont Circle and since then he hasn’t been able to remember where he parked it. We called 311 and it hasn’t been towed. (more…)

“The repair contract for the Dupont Circle fountain was awarded sooner than expected and repair on the basin will begin soon. Expect to see fencing around it during the delicate waterproofing stage. Stay tuned for updates.”
Thanks to Victoria and all others who sent in updates about the Dupont Circle Fountain after it was flowing for a few days: “Sign of continuing woes…. Fence went up around the Dupont Circle fountain, workers on site. Hopefully doesn’t take as long to repair as the Meridian Hill fountain and the glorious cascades can resume.” (more…)
