This scenario is crazy. From MPD:

“Wednesday night at approximately 8 PM the victim and suspect were involved in a mutual fist fight in the 4400 block of Iowa Ave NW. During the fight the suspect produced a knife and attempted to stab the victim but the victim was able to disarm him. The suspect then produced a sling shot and shot the victim in the head with a rock. The victim was treated for minor injuries. The suspect fled on foot but is known and is an acquaintance of the victim. The Fourth District Detectives Office will be applying for an arrest warrant in this case.”

Alright, alright, alright. It’s been a minute – so let’s remedy that. Meet me and some of the folks from Real Living at Home next Wednesday, November 8th from 5:30 – 7:30pm (though I’ll probably stay later) at Homestead (3911 Georgia Avenue, NW.) First 40 folks get a free drink ticket! Hey-o. I’ll also bring some t-shirts as usual. And while it’s not an officially anniversary party – let’s also toast PoPville turning 11 years old this November. And let’s also toast the world still spinning round and round. See you in a week!!
