A reader reported around 4:30pm yesterday:

“not sure what happened or how each car ended up where they did, but this intersection is notorious for traffic violence and poorly planned. Very glad no pedestrians appear to have been hurt, as it is also one of the only spots to cross North Capitol Street. The city is aware of the issues with accidents here but favors commuters over the communities that surround it.”

“Dear PoPville,

My family has lived in our rowhouse for ten years. Recently, new neighbors moved in next door. They smoke pot indoors at all times of day and night, and whenever they do, it basically hotboxes my house. I don’t know exactly how the smoke gets in — we have an insulated attic and newish windows etc, but it smells extremely strong in the house and lingers.
