Crushed Skate Shop writes on their IG:
“Since starting Crushed in January 2020 right before the pandemic started, we’re no stranger to tough times and the pressure that comes along with it. With no stimulus help and starting the shop with almost nothing (If you were there you know) we have always tried our best to keep up with our immediate communities needs and beyond. This has been one of our biggest challenges especially being that we are the only skate shop here in Washington DC. Breaking down stereotypes, opening communication and increasing knowledge with folks outside of our skateboard community, hosting events to bring everyone together, bringing DC its first and very own Nike SB Dunk, encouraging skateboarding to help with mental health/stress/anxiety, fundraisers, protests, my absolute pleasure introducing/reintroducing new and returning people to skateboarding, and so much more.
