“As part of IKEA’s ongoing transformation to better meet the evolving needs of its customers, the company is moving its planning location in Arlington to a new, more accessible location in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. IKEA in Georgetown will open on November 5, located at 3307 M, Street. NW. Washington, DC 20007. Meanwhile, The IKEA Arlington Plan and order point will remain open for planning appointments and pick up until it closes on November 30, 2025.

This decision supports IKEA’s broader strategy to meet customers wherever and however they choose to shop—whether in-store, online, or through new and innovative formats. (more…)

“According to my ANC Commissioner, the request for a zoning variance to enable the Detroit Brick Pizza Co. to occupy the former Miss Pixie’s space at 1626 14th St NW has been withdrawn, as the application for a liquor license.”
