“Dear PoPville,
This is a longshot, but I thought worth a try. My wife lost her wedding band sometime during her train ride (Amtrak regional #107, approximately 10 pm arrival at Union Station) and the Uber ride home. She went back to the train the night she lost it (big round of applause to the lovely Amtrak staff who very kindly helped her look) and looked through the entire car she was in and the path she took out of the station. Union Market security has decided to install a loudspeaker with high decibels that relays an anti loitering message. Every minute starting at 12:00am and ends at 6:00am. It’s superloud and can be heard yards away. I’m sure this is illegal.” (more…)

Wondering if you have any insight into this crazy situation we are having on our block in NoMa.
It looks like someone, likely a neighbor, is actively trying to get more rats on the block. As in not just being sloppy, but going out of their way to go into other peoples’ trash cans, rip open their garbage bags, and throw the garbage on the ground. (more…)
