“Food and beverage sales at Union Station increased by 59% in 2023, Rexmark announced today. The news comes amid an upswing in new tenants.

Van Leeuwen’s Ice Cream is targeting a Spring 2024 opening at Union Station, joining a growing list of new and returning food and beverage tenants, including Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Cinnabon, The Halal Guys, Wellfound Foods, Laduree, Wendy’s, Jamba Juice, Shake Shack, and Chopt. I stopped by Raising Cane’s earlier this afternoon for a sneak peek and an early taste. I can now confirm the hype is for real. The Texas Toast was particularly delicious. And the staff were super friendly, kind and courteous.

And this just in for tomorrow’s grand opening festivities [some of]: “the Washington Capitals hockey team will do an autograph signing during the event.”
