Last month we posted that there was a “Rare opportunity to obtain a built out restaurant that grosses $1.5m year after year maintaining a consistent presence and menu.” in Logan Circle. Multiple readers report that it is likely Masa 14. Most recently:

“A bartender told me it is indeed Masa. Sale was supposed to be completed last week.”

Pappe on 14th Street is now offering an Indian inspired brunch menu from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

In addition to the restaurant’s regular menu, Chef Sanjay Mandhaiya has created a Goan Crab Benedict with house-made crab cakes on saffron flavored naan, with poached eggs and a chili-lime hollandaise sauce. ($19) (more…)
