Not a lot to go on but before I get scooped by someone else – I hear Bar Pilar may be for sale and based on the silence from my queries it seems very likely that it either has or is close to happening. Updates when we learn more.

Ed. Note: Bar Pilar is a neighborhood gem and I hope, if this is true, it doesn’t change too drastically.

Our earliest recording of the Barbies was back in April 2014. Suffice it to say they have grown in popularity since then and literally become a neighborhood landmark. Long live the barbies and their cheeky (pun intended), good-natured take on holidays and events of the day. They put a smile on my face every time I see them!

The Outrage is applying for a liquor license at their new Logan Circle location:

A Tavern that will serve beer and wine and prepared food along with clothing and accessories. Requesting an Entertainment Endorsement to provide live entertainment and cover charge. Interior seating for 100 with a Total Occupancy Load of 150.”

These flyers were on cars up and down the street today. One was stuffed in my mailbox (which any good dc political folk would know is illegal).

People are seriously off their rocker about this condo. Call out the tax abatement, I agree. But they don’t even talk about that on their ridiculous flyer.

P.S. The “last open green space” isn’t open to the public.”
