The change allows our Crewmembers to earn a livable wage and benefits such as paid sick leave and time off. It’s included it in the price of your meal, and you will not be asked for a tip at checkout.

“At approximately 9:56pm, the Metropolitan Police responded to the 1200 block of Jefferson Street, Northwest, for a report of gunfire. Upon their arrival, officers discovered numerous cartridge casings and a building that sustained minor damage from the unlawful discharge.

A reader reported: “a shooting at 5th and Kennedy that may have involved a metro bus.”

“On April 29, 2021, at approximately 11:51 AM, gunfire was reported in the 5400 block of 5th Street NW. Officers responded and discovered multiple casings in the area. The Fourth District Detectives are investigating the incident.

Cheesemonster studio formally announced today that they will be permanently closing their doors due to an untenable safety situation at their studio on Kennedy Street. As detailed by their public instagram post here.

The suspects are described as two black males 20-30 years old who fled in a grey SUV South on Illinois Avenue NW.
