“Renovations at the former Mintwood Place, located at 1813 Columbia Road, NW, in Adams Morgan are complete, heralding the arrival of Namak, a new upscale casual Eastern Mediterranean restaurant, from partners Saied Azali and John Cidre. Led by Chef Tolgahan Gulyiyen, the 90+-seat dining room is set to soft open on Tuesday, April 2 for dinner service Tuesdays through Saturdays. My friend Courtney who is 81 years old, was about to get a cab on March 10 in the corner of Columbia rd and Ontario rd. A car that was parked went en reverse and hit her, she is ok. She wants to thank the good people that helped her to get up, get her cane and assisted her to go back home. She appreciates the kind gesture, hopefully the good neighbors will know she is doing good thanks to their help.”
