On my way to work this morning, as I was attempting to clean my windshield …I turn on my wipers and realized someone removed my wiper blades.
As I continued driving to work my fuel cap indicator began to blink on my console. I pulled over thinking I needed to tighten up my fuel cap, and realized that was gone.
It would appear individuals are removing car parts from vehicles at night.
The only positive outcome is that the thieves did not vandalize my car!”
A reader reports: “I heard about 5 shots fired and a vehicle speed off from my apartment overlooking 7th and O St tonight around 8:20. Officers are onsite and confirm officers are investigating shots fired.”

“Ms Cooper, who has lived in the 1500 block of Buchanan Street, NW since the early 1950’s, is turning 103. Her daughter, Cherry, has asked if some neighbors would be willing to sing her Happy Birthday at 4pm. Hope to see lots of neighbors on Buchanan Street, NW between 15th and 16th.”

“On Saturday November 14, 2020, at approximately 9:00 PM, MPD units responded to the 4600 block of 14th St NW for a call of a shooting. MPD units arrived on scene and observed an adult male shot in the upper body. The adult male was transported to a local hospital for his injuries.
Anyone with information related to this is urged to call MPD at 202-727-9099 or to text anonymously to 50411″
