A reader reports: “I heard about 5 shots fired and a vehicle speed off from my apartment overlooking 7th and O St tonight around 8:20. Officers are onsite and confirm officers are investigating shots fired.”

“On March 17, 2021, at approximately 3:51am, MPD responded to a sound of gunfire in the 1200 block of Farragut Street NW. One casing was recovered. The incident is being investigated by the Fourth District Detectives.
