“Bodymass Gym opened its doors just over 2 years ago in the Courthouse neighborhood of Arlington. We have an amazing group of members who have helped us grow rapidly and we are proud to announce the opening of our first DC location at the corner of Georgia Ave and Harvard in NW DC. We are excited be part of the up and coming Park View neighborhood and bring high quality training to an area that deserves more fitness offerings.

Bodymass is not like your average gym that only offers cookie-cutter, over-crowded group exercise classes. (more…)

Sculpt DC Abruptly Closes in Penn Quarter

“I love this place they always had great service. I know they had an “inspection” on Thursday so I wonder if that had something to do with it? Does anyone else know! So sad to get this email and so suddenly they closed.”

Sculpt DC opened up back in September 2012.

“In a world where we are tethered to our phones, it is getting harder and harder to practice good mobile phone etiquette. Based on your feedback, we’ve recently updated our mobile phone policy signage. You’ve also asked us to take things a step further and increase our enforcement of these policies. We understand that you don’t want to hear another member’s conference call while you’re working hard on the elliptical, wait for a bench press while someone casually catches up on 400 emails and text messages, or wait for the dumbbells you need while their user scrolls through Instagram.
