Yikes! Thanks to Stevie (and everyone else who emailed) for sending the video from Metro Center.

A reader reports this was spotted “across the street from the SiriusXM building. Took it at 8:57. Police were there, fire fighters showed up at 5 minutes later and got it under control” “

A reader reports:

“Wanted to make everyone aware of a car that was dumped and set on fire in the G Street block in NE. Someone set a car on fire right next to a fence that proceeded to set fire at 1030am yesterday. It is a miracle it didn’t continue down the fence and damage the entire row of backyards, the tree or heaven forbid the houses. Please neighbors stay on alert!”

A couple weeks ago there was a huge dumpster fire in Columbia Heights. Have we a dumpster fire bandit on our hands? All kidding aside these can easily get out of hand and cause tremendous damage. Props to the DCFD for the quick responses. Anyone else see what happened last night?
