Yesterday afternoon, I took the L2 bus from Farragut Square up to Adams Morgan with my mother-in-law and my wife. A few stops into the journey, a visibly intoxicated man boarded the bus, carrying a bottle of clear alcohol. He sat directly behind my family and began shouting, creating an uncomfortable and tense atmosphere. (more…)

At the corner of 13th and U Streets directly in front of the Walgreens, there is a specific sidewalk square that my partner and I have dubbed the “spill square.” It has a large spill stain on it and consistently has different, spectacular food spills strewn across it.
