I’m looking for recommendations for a dog walker in the Adams Morgan area who has experience with reactive dogs. I’d prefer someone who can walk my dog alone. If that’s not an option, a small group is ok so long as the walker knows how to introduce reactive dogs and understands they need more time and space to acclimate to new pup friends.”

I ran into the owners and they told me they are NOT closed! They have a gas connection issue and are waiting on the landlord to fix it. I think the landlord is pushing back saying they are not going to fix it so they have closed indefinitely. Can we please help them?? They are a Korean couple who don’t speak the best English. Let’s get them open again!! Maybe a legally-minded reader could help!”

I’ve been eating at Harmony Cafe on M. St since the mid 90’s. Always a husband and wife team and can’t remember them ever having any help. It’s my favorite restaurant in town as a vegetarian, as they make any dish on the menu meat or mock meat. I walked there yesterday to find this sign and my heart stopped. (more…)

I have a question for the community regarding security deposits in DC. Are tenants entitled to their security deposit paid back with interest? However, some leases like my own state that no interest shall be returned. Is this enforceable?”

The stove is a gas oven/range, Robert Shaw brand, Fair lady model. Unsure on year, but ballpark of 1940s/1950s. It is now on the ground level of the apartment building and easy to wheel out on a dolly/cart. Can’t guarantee it works as is, but after a tighten and tune up of the pipes it should! Cosmetic wise, it has very few flaws.
